Job Description
CMD is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. Project Manager is responsible for field and office coordination of all projects, current and upcoming, by preparing and managing all required documentation and resources to ensure administrative issues stay ahead of project progress in accordance with contract documents. Project Manager will work closely with all project engineers and the management team to address project discrepancies, communicate updates, and ensure that all crew members and staff are following the best safety practices at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:

Project Engineer II
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. CMD Endeavors, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer with a background in heavy civil construction or construction management. We are a growing, diverse, heavy civil contractor specializing in utility infrastructure. CMD’s management staff has successfully completed a wide range of public works and private development contracts in the southwest and encompasses professionals from all disciplines. CMD’s Mission is to safely perform quality heavy civil construction services with detailed efficiency, while proactively maximizing our time and resources, to produce consistent results for our clients. We are looking for the very best in El Paso to join our growing team of professionals.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include assisting Project Management and/or Project Estimating to keep administrative issues ahead of production. Coordinate with Owners and Engineers to consistently complete projects on-time and under budget. Provide updated information to superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors as necessary. Carefully read and review contract documents, plans, and specifications prior to project startup. Create, update, and maintain construction schedules and short interval schedules. Maintain and organize field documents and daily project paperwork. Review all required shop drawings, mix designs, and related documents. Follow up and initiate as needed with people inside and outside the company to keep progress moving forward. Aggressively pursue and resolve project concerns as they arise. Attend weekly progress meetings as necessary and follow up on issues until resolved. Closely monitor all project cost and highlight areas of attention. Prepare pay estimates reflecting payment for all completed work. Verify actual quantities installed with field personnel. Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices ensuring accuracy to permanent purchase orders and subcontract agreements. Maintain close contact and a good working relationship with project owners and engineers to ensure a positive company image within the industry.
Minimum Qualifications:

Junior Superintendent
Job Description
The Project Superintendent is responsible for all daily field related site activities such as job schedule, crew coordination, cost savings, site safety, and quality of work performed on one or more projects, depending on scope and scale of work in progress. Superintendent works closely with management staff regarding all aspects of the project. They also communicate regularly with the General Superintendent, requesting support and taking direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Must be able to maintain relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants and Subcontractors. Conduct daily activities to promote the company’s mission, values, and produce consistent results for our clients. Superintendent should keep project progress and production ahead of schedule, coordinating deliveries, equipment, crew, and materials to facilitate a consistent outcome for our customers and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced knowledge of all trade disciplines

- Ensure compliance with Accident Prevention Plan

Project Coordinator
Job Description
CMD is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team. Project Coordinator serves as the administrative support for our Project Management and Estimating Department. Project Coordinator is responsible for preparation of project documents including contract documents, purchase orders, subcontracts, submittals, and close-out documents. Additionally, the coordinator maintains administrative files such as certificates of insurance, project related permits, and resolves any discrepancies with project invoices. The Project Coordinator works closely with vendors, subcontractors, project engineers, project managers, project owners and management as needed to ensure all paperwork and documentation has been completed and updated for each project assigned. Project Engineer ensures administrative issues stay ahead of project progress in accordance with all contract documentation to produce consistent results for our clients.

Utility Pipe Laborer
Job Description
Utility Pipe Laborer or Wet Utility Laborer is responsible for working with other field crew members. Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Lead, Foreman, or Superintendent. Begin learning to operate some construction equipment when asked to grow with trade. Handle the physical demands of the construction industry. Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions and working with a team to complete project tasks. Assist crew members in placing different types of underground pipe in many different types of environments. Mechanically inclined or knowledgeable in basic power tools, quick-saws, generators, mixing concrete bags, and similar labor activities. Communicate with field supervision to support and take direction as necessary to ensure successful project delivery. Conduct daily activities to promote the company’s mission to produce consistent results for our clients.
